Chatting with The Wrap recently, Walton revealed that it just wasn’t the right time for him to return.

“There’s a season, kind of, for everything,” he told the outlet. “This isn’t the right place and time.”

Despite not being in the show, Walton is looking forward to tuning in.

“I can’t wait to see it, and I can’t wait to see Raylan Givens again,” he shared. “Tim [Olyphant] is such a wonderful actor and Boyd Holbrook — I love him. I’ll be there. I’ll be watching it to the bitter end.”
